   Macie Gardner is the Salutatorian of Tidehaven High School’s Class of 2026.  Macie is the daughter of Travis and Emily Gardner, granddaughter of Gregory and Mary Janak, Shirley and the late Dennis Gardner, and sister to Matthew.

"Tidehaven to graduate 72 seniors" by: Jessica Shepard

   A total of 72 students will graduate from Tidehaven High School starting at 8 p.m. Friday, May 15, at Delvin Taska Memorial Stadium.  Valedictorian Jaxon Talbert and Salutatorian Macie Gardner will be recognized and give speeches addressing their fellow classmates and audience members.

   A torrent of severe storm preparedness information – from two weeks before a Hurricane arrives to the cleanup - the Inaugural Hurricane Symposium covered a detailed list of ways to plan and to know what to expect.

City Council, state runoff elections

   The June 13 Runoff Election will be a tight race for Place 1 on Bay City City Council – the May 2 election ended with eight-vote difference - and several top statewide races.  In Place 1 City Council race, Cory McCray received 239 votes for 44.67%, while Stacy L. Rowh had 231 votes, 43.18%.
