   Bay City routed the Brazosport Exporters 53-3 for a Homecoming win here last Friday that brings the Blackcats to 4-1 at the half-way point in the 2025 season.

   The No. 1-ranked Tidehaven Tigers boosted their season to 5-0 after an impressive 56-25 defeat over previously unbeaten Brazos there Friday, Sept. 26.  Tiger senior quarterback Kale Russell paced Tidehaven with 110 yards rushing and a touchdown.

   Bay City had a difficult time getting on track against the Sealy Tigers Friday night, losing 35-7 in a non-district matchup there.  Despite a good rushing game from junior Keimarion Wiggins, who had 11 carries for 106 yards, the Blackcats had 265 total yards of offense to Sealy’s 380 yards.
