   The No. 5 Bay City Blackcats routed the Brookshire Royal Falcons 49 – 7 last Friday and will travel to Navasota Friday. Bay City and Navasota are both 4-1.  The Blackcats compiled 502 yards in total offense against Brookshire and held the Falcons to 131 total yards.

Tidehaven got its passing game untracked, but not the rushing game, as the Tigers, 1-4, fell 47-14 to the Industrial Cobras, 2-3, there Friday, night, Sept. 25.  Tiger freshman quarterback Jericho Talbert was 18 of 28 passing for 307 yards and two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Van Vleck to face Industrial Friday

   Van Vleck, 3-2, was defeated 28-13 by Boling, 2-3, Friday night, Sept. 23.  Van Vleck is now 3-2, having gone 3-2 since their six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) ended.   As for Boling, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

   The Bay City Blackcats overwhelmed the Furr Brahmans 62-0 at Houston Thursday, Sept. 10, in a non-district game.  It was the third straight shutout loss for the District 11-4A-2 Brahmans.

   Tidehaven had 558 total yards of    offense en route to a 55-7 rout of Palacios at Homecoming to improve to 1-2 last Thursday night.  The Tigers had 240 yards rushing and 318 in passing to Palacios’ 149 total yards.
