   City Council unanimously approved a resolution that allocated $100,000 of the City’s participation in the TIRZ 1 fund for downtown revitalization at council’s regular session March 24.

   Bay City High School’s Dungeeoners are aiming to take their “One-Act Play (OAP)” productions to state-level competition.  The Dungeoneers have their Bi-District showcase on Wednesday, April 2 at the Bay City High School Theater.

   With the Easter Bunny on his way to Matagorda County, several entities are closing early.  In observance of Good Friday, April 3, the Matagorda County Courthouse and city offices will be closed.  The Bay City Public Library will be closed Friday and Saturday, April 3-4 for its Easter holiday.
