"Early voting underway for May 4 election" by: Mike Reddell

   Early voting began Monday, April 22, for the May 4 joint election that features two Bay City school board seats.  Bay City ISD voters will vote for Lora Beth Robicheaux or Esau Rodriguez for the trustees’ Place 6, while incumbent Jill Westmoreland is unopposed for the Place 7 post.

   It’s another busy weekend in Bay City and Matagorda County this week.  There’s a variety of civic events and local fundraisers available for young and old alike.

BCHS reveals 2024 Top 10

   Our local Matagorda A&M Club met at Beneath the Oaks in Midfield Sunday, April 21.   We had almost 100 Aggies in attendance taking part in this cherished tradition that takes place every year on April 21, San Jacinto Day.
