Our local Matagorda A&M Club met at Beneath the Oaks in Midfield Sunday, April 21.
We had almost 100 Aggies in attendance taking part in this cherished tradition that takes place every year on April 21, San Jacinto Day.
Muster is a unique and solemn tradition that brings Aggies together, across the world, to recognize current and former students that have passed away.
On April 21, 2024, it was celebrated across the world in 300 locations and it has been celebrated by Aggies for the past 82 years.
Roll was called for the following:
  Mrs. Donna Harrison ‘75
  Mr. Richard Davis ‘72
  Dr. Alan Briscoe ‘68
  Mr. Lacey Lowry ‘63
  Mr. Carroll Cairnes ‘54
Our speaker was Colonel Mark H. Johnson, class of ‘78.
He is currently the Director of the Professors of Practice Program at Texas A&M University in College Station.
Taps was played by Trumpet Player Mark Halamicek during the ceremony.
It is always extra special when someone lends us their talent for a live Taps.
