   Matagorda County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension hosted a wildlife symposium last week.  Guest speakers touched on whitetail deer, bobwhite quail, and herbicide use – all of which outlined water resources as key factors in wildlife and habitat management.

Police arrest Bay City man for continuous sexual abuse of child

   Roscoe Moore III, 38, of Bay City, was arrested at his residence on a warrant for continuous sexual abuse of a child – victim under 14 years of age – by Bay City police at about 9:30 p.m. Aug. 9.  The warrant stems from a case that was reported to the police department on June 1, police said.
