   The due date for Riverside Park Lease and/or Management Services RFP (Request for Proposals) submissions is Thursday, March 26.  Prospective proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope before 2 p.m. that day.  That date is an extension of the original Feb.

   Communication & Cultural Arts Director Samantha Denbow led the Tourism Advisory Council board through its first regular 2026 meeting Monday afternoon.  Denbow had each board member provide their own introductions to their fellow members.

   With the primaries over, the next elections on horizon are five municipal, school board and Caney Creek MUD elections Saturday, May 2.  County Clerk Stephanie Wurtz has election contract with all five entities.Bay City City Council positions 1 and 2 are up for election Saturday, May 2.
