"County renews vessel turn-in" by: Mike Reddell

   Precinct 2 Commissioner Mike Estlinbaum announced the return of the Matagorda County Vessel Turn-In Program, at the Commissioners Court regular meeting Monday, March 20.     The turn-in of inoperable vessels will be at the Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 17-20.

Second trailer fire at 2517 Nichols this year

   A second trailer fire at 2517 Nichols destroyed the structure Sunday night, March 19, Fire Marshal Dan Shook reported.

Great Steak Cook-Off to help Education Foundation

   This will be the 13th annual Great Steak Cook-off will be on Saturday, March 25, at the Bay City Civic Center, at 201 7th Street.     The Bay City ISD Education Foundation will benefit from this year’s cook-off that begins at 4:30 p.m.
