   Planning Commission board members unanimously approved plats for Valor Park Phase 1 and Russell Ranch subdivision during their regular meeting on Dec. 15.    The approvals hinge on final approval from Drainage District No. 1.

"Main Street gives approval for façade grant " by: Jessica Shepard

   Main Street board members unanimously approved a $5,000 façade grant for BC 5th Street LLC during their regular December meeting.    Members present included Tami Savage, Carol Huitt, Elizabeth Hewitt, Courtney Sones, Kristi Lee, Justin Rhodes, Susan Fehmel, Joan Myers, and Jennifer Bishop.

New Year’s closings

   As 2022 draws to a close this New Year’s Eve, many local businesses will be closing early in observance.    City offices and the Bay City Public Library will be closed from Friday, Dec. 30, through Monday, Jan. 2, and reopen at regular hours on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
