   Bay City Mayor Robert Nelson spoke about his vision for continued unity, growth, and collaboration in the city last Thursday.  The Bay City Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture hosted a luncheon where Nelson gave his “State of the City Address” to nearly 100 attendees on April 17.

Engine fire destroys truck at Walmart

   An engine fire destroyed a late-model pickup truck at the Walmart parking lot at about 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 18.  Bay City Volunteer Fire Department, Bay City Police Department, and the Bay City Fire Marshal were sent to a vehicle fire in the WalMart parking lot, 4600 7th St.

Mike Pierce inducted to Region IV Hall of Honor

   Coach Mike Pierce was recently inducted into the 2025 Region IV Track Hall of Honor.  Pierce has had a long standing involvement in Tidehaven athletics and the Tidehaven track meet has already been renamed the Mike Pierce Relays.
