   If you’re looking to catch the Easter Bunny out and about this weekend there are a handful of county events you can check out.  Bay City Parks and Recreation Department has its annual “Easter Egg-Stravaganza” on Friday, April 18.  The event will be from 12-3 p.m. at LeTulle Park, 1135 TX 35.

   City Council approved an agreement with YMCA of the Golden Crescent to operate Hilliard Pool from May 1 to Sept. 30, at council’s regular meeting April 8.  YMCA currently manages 16th Street pool and is projected to manage the proposed aquatic center when it is built, city officials said.

   The Port of Bay City Authority approved a letter of support for the Matagorda Bay Foundation’s East Matagorda Bay Wetland Restoration and Flood Risk Resilience Study at the board’s meeting last week.  The letter will go to Ms.

   City Council followed staff and Mayor Robert Nelson’s recommendation to approve the lower of two bids on two water system projects totaling $9.45 million at a council workshop last week.  The projects include a $6.
