   STP Nuclear Operating Company Vice President of Strategic Resources Savannah Cornelius shared her “character skills” with dozens of women last week.  Cornelius was the keynote speaker for the Women In Touch Initiative’s (WITI) “Women in Leadership” luncheon event Oct. 10.

Early counts for hazardous waste collection

Sentinel Photo/Mike Reddell Commissioners Court approved a proclamation declaring Oct. 6-12, 2024, as National 4-H Week in Matagorda County at the court’s Oct. 7 meeting, and five young people in their green 4-H jackets were in attendance. They told the court of the many 4-H activities in Matagorda County for youngsters ranging in age from eight to 18. Those 4-H activities include raising cattle, food production, nutrition and community service.
