   Tidehaven had 780 total yards of offense in its 62-7 dismantling of the Comfort Bobcats for the Bi-District championship of the UIL football playoffs Thursday, Nov. 13 in Seguin.  Comfort had a total of 224 total yards.

   Bay City Blackcats are recovering from a devastating and controversial 7-6 loss to the Calhoun Sandcrabs Friday night, Nov. 7, at Sandcrab Stadium.  Officials called the final play of the game for Calhoun, where the Sandcrabs took a dropped lateral and took it in for a touchdown.

"Tigers win 4th straight district title with 59-6 rout of E. Bernard" by: Mike Reddell

   Tidehaven won its fourth consecutive District 14-3A-2 championship with a 59-6 rout of East Bernard Brahmas Friday night at Delvin L. Taska Stadium at El Maton.    “We haven’t had a game that was competitive past five minutes into the third quarter this season,” said Tiger Head Coach David Lucio.

Tiger 8th-graders unbeaten in season

   The Tigers traveled to East Bernard last week and won 24-20.      Catching three touchdown passes from Tidehaven 8th-grade quarterback Jericho Talbert was DJ Foster (18,75).     Scoring two point conversions were: Foster, Talbert and Tristan Speight.
