Several Blackcats are All District

   District 26-4A-1 has released its All-District selections.    Bay City players on First Team All District are: David Perez, Anthony Terrazas, Ashton Wallace.    Second Team All District are: Joey Davalos, Ayden Smith, Jace Dewitt.    Honorable mention includes Austin Beasley and Blake Maclennan.

   Tidehaven seniors Zach Garcia Sr. is Offensive MVP and Ritchie ZGarcia is Pitcher of Year to pace the Tigers on the 2023 District 25-3A All-District baseball list.    The All-District First Team Infield includes Tidehaven’s Clyde Griffith, senior.

   Thursday night, May 4, the Tigers traveled to Marion for round 1 of the playoffs and dropped two, tough one-run ball games.      In the first game, Ritchie ZGarcia took the loss, going 8 innings giving up 5 earned runs on 8 hits, striking out 4 and walking 1.
