Blackcats head to playoffs

   The Bay City Blackcats are playoff-bound with a second-place finish in district and a 7-4 win over Stafford at home last Friday to cap their regular season.    The team now heads to a bi-district playoff against Sealy.

   Blackcats competed at the area track meet last week, with  several athletes advancing to the Regional Track Meet in Kingsville Friday, April 28.

   Tidehaven hosted Hallettsville on Tuesday and won 4-0.       Ritchie ZGarcia threw a complete gm shutout giving up 4 hits and striking out 6.       Leading hitter with 3 hits was Connor Claxton,       Zach Garcia had 2, and with 1 hit each were: Kale Russell and TJ Galvan .
