Tidehaven crushes Odem

   The Tidehaven Tigers scored 27 second-half points to overpower the Odem Owls 34-7 there Friday, Sept. 2.      The Tigers’ leading rusher was junior running back Joseph Dodds with 215 yards, on 13 carries, with a 64-yard touchdown.

"Bay City launches season with a 68-0 shutout of Sweeny" by: Mike Reddell

   Bay City Blackcats started their season with an astounding 68-0 shutout over the Sweeny Bulldogs there Friday night, Aug. 26.    “Yes, it’s nothing like starting the season with a shutout,” Blackcat Head Coach Robert Jones replied to a Sentinel question about the first-game score.

Tidehaven JV falls to Goliad 32-12

   The JV Tigers opened up the season with a 32-12 loss to Goliad.      Scoring for the Tigers were WR Chad Faas with a 6 yard TD reception from QB Camden Johnson and RB Eli Daily scored on a 3 yd td run.
