Soccer  Bay City Ladycat Soccer  Bay City Girls Soccer had a rough go of it at last week’s Salado tournament, losing three matches.  This week, the girls, 5-5-1, 0-0) began their district schedule Monday, facing El Campo.   Next up, will be Calhoun at home Saturday.

   I drew the unwanted attention of a soccer referee last week, as I took photos near the net at Memorial Stadium.    There were several of us taking photos at the other end of the field in the first half, but I was the only one at the other end of the field in the second half.

Soccer  Bay City Ladycat Soccer  Bay City Girls Soccer defeated Navasota and Cypress Park, but lost to Aubrey in the Gulf Coast Classic consolation round.   Flour Bluff won the tournament that ended Saturday Jan. 10, at Memorial Stadium.
