Tiger 8th graders rout Industrial

From Eddie Russell Tidehaven Assistant Athletic Director    The 8th grade football team traveled to Industrial last week and won by the score of 36-8.        Scoring for the Tigers with a TD run of 32 yards and 2 TD catches (10,55) was Boogie Galvan.      Tristan Galvan scored on a 25 yard TD pass.

"Blackcats carry Wharton win, 2-1 mark into game with Vidor" by: Mike Reddell

   Bay City will take a homecoming win over Wharton last Friday and a 2-1 record into its game against 3-0 Vidor there Friday.    Trailing Wharton 9-7 at half, the Blackcats put up 14 unanswered points in the second half for a convincing 21-9 win over the Tigers.

BCHS Cross Country team finds improvements pay off

   The Bay City Cross Country team recently competed in the Texas City Invitational and competed against great competition.       “Today, showed that hard work and motivation pays off which resulted in improvements and high team results,” said Cross Country Head Coach Rilea Sanders.
