   Precinct 4 Commissioner Bubba Frick commented on last Friday’s storm hitting the Blessing area at Commissioners Court Monday morning.  “We had some bad storms come across Blessing last week,” he said.  “We were hit with hail and had some bad crop damage to our area, too.

   Maya Wilkinson, BSN, RN of Matagorda Regional Medical Center (MRMC) was recently honored with The DAISY Award For Extraordinary Nurses.   The award is part of the DAISY Foundation’s programs to recognize the super-human efforts nurses perform every day.
