Bay City ISD Strategic Planning Committee held its last meeting to finalize their recommendations to trustees May 26. EdVantage Strategy Group facilitator Dr. Christie Whitbeck told the group that the next step was to present their recommendations to trustees at the June 15 meeting.

Matagorda Against Data Centers will host “The Cost of Data Centers” forum that runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 11, at the Matagorda County Fairgrounds, 4511 FM 2668, Bay City.

On Monday May 25th Hawley Cemetery held its annual Memorial Day Program. The weather was beautiful and there was a great turnout. During the Star Spangled Banner, those attending enjoyed a flyer by Flying V Aviation out of Louise. It was a special moment of the day. Contributed photo
