   Youth Leadership Matagorda County (YLMC) kicked off its fourth year with an introduction session for students and families last week.  County Judge Bobby Seiferman and Port of Bay City Authority Business Development Director Jessica Russell spearheaded the informational dinner on Aug. 6.

‘Rice Dish Round-up’ recipes due Sept. 22

   Time to pull out your favorite rice recipes and begin planning for the 55th Annual Rice Dish Round-Up Cooking Contest (RDR).  Entry forms, including typed recipes for the contest, are due by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, by emailing crpage@ag.tamu.edu.
