Bay City Library to offer local adults scholarships to earn diploma through Career Online High School

Through a partnership with Career Online High School (COHS), Bay City Public Library will support adults with earning their high school diploma and a career certificate.
The library will grant scholarships as part of its adult education programming.

Sheriff Skipper Osborne battled with Commissioners Court over a pay raise for Sheriff’s Office jailers at the court’s regular meeting Monday, Oct. 2.
Osborne said the raises are important to bring his jail staff up to standards, adding that he was seven jailers short.
