   Families and friends filled the Van Vleck High School auditorium last Sunday to hear children of all ages perform in the annual Matagorda County Fair and Livestock Association (MCFLA) Talent Show and Public Speaking contest.

   Matagorda County Fair and Livestock Association’s 2022 Fair and Rodeo royalty winners were chosen last weekend.    Alana Miles was crowned this year’s Rodeo Queen Saturday, Feb. 19.    Miles is joined by first runner-up Martina Rose Hernandez and second runner-up Emily Dunbar.
