   Matagorda County Fair & Livestock Association’s Fair and Rodeo activities ramp up this Friday.  Commercial Heifer check-in will be 2-4:30 p.m. at the outdoor arena with commercial interviews to follow at 5 p.m.  Kenny’s Funland carnival opens from 5-10 p.m. Friday night.  Saturday, Feb.

   A little over 1,000 Matagorda County voters cast their votes through Sunday, Feb. 22, in the early voting in the 2026 Primary Election, which began Tuesday, Feb. 17, and continues through Friday, Feb. 27.  The Primary Election will be Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
