Bay City
The Blackcats began workouts last week, as they prepare for the 2026 football schedule. Bay City will scrimmage Victoria West there, beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14.
Van Vleck
The Van Vleck Leopards will have two away scrimmages this month. The Leps will scrimmage Weimar there Saturday, Aug. 15. The start time was to be determined. Van Vleck also will scrimmage at Palacios Thursday, Aug. 20.
Tidehaven
Pre-season August workshops always focus on techniques that players are supposed to follow, as the photo above shows one such drill at Tidehaven. The Tigers will scrimmage at Shiner Friday, Aug. 14. JV action starts at 5 p.m., while varsity’s scrimmage begins at 6 p.m.
