"Tidehaven, Van Vleck square off Friday" by: Mike Reddell

   Tidehaven and Van Vleck will square off in a long, cross-county rivalry game between the two District 14-3A-2 teams at Van Vleck Friday, Oct. 17.  The Tidehaven Tigers (6-0, 2-0) are coming off a bye week, while the Van Vleck Leopards (1-6, 0-3) fell to Industrial 27-19 last Friday.

"Blackcats blow out Exporters 53-3 in Homecoming win" by: Mike Reddell

   Bay City routed the Brazosport Exporters 53-3 for a Homecoming win here last Friday that brings the Blackcats to 4-1 at the half-way point in the 2025 season.
